Why We Built This Site
Colorado permits access to many court and criminal-justice records, yet choosing the correct custodian can be difficult. The El Paso County Combined Courts keep district and county case files. Municipal clerks keep city and town matters, while the El Paso County Sheriff's Office serves county warrants and records them in law-enforcement systems. Because there is no single public Colorado warrant portal, a clear result from one channel may say little about another court. We bring the verified phone lines, court routes, official forms, and access limits together so a reader can begin with the issuing court or the agency that holds the warrant.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant lookups: how to run a warrant search by name and date of birth through the sheriff and the courts
- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in El Paso County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court, municipal clerk, or El Paso County Court Warrant Information can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it was recalled or cleared. We identify those routes, but the answer must come from the official custodian.
Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search boxes shown on some pages and control their own prices, data, and results. A paid signup may generate a referral fee that supports the site's operation. Those results are never an official El Paso County warrant confirmation, and we do not control the provider's coverage or charges.
